  7. Beefalo • First breed in 1850’s, had fertility problems • True beefalo is 5/8 bos taurus, 3/8 bison • Range and cold weather hardy

  10. Beefmaster • Started in Texas in 1938, reconized as purebred in 1954. • 25% Shorthorn,25% Hereford,50% Brahman. • No color standards. • May be horned or polled.
