  1. “From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us” Acts 17:26-27

  2. James Cook’s diary entry on the 21 April 1770: “In the P.M. we saw the smoke of fire in several places; a certain sign that the Country is inhabited”

James Cook’s diary entry on the 29 April 1770: “As we approached the shore the natives all made off, except two men, who at first seemed resolved to oppose our landing; we endeavoured to gain their consent to land by throwing them some nails and beads ashore, but this had not the desired effect, but as we put in to the shore one of them threw a large stone at us, and as soon as we landed they threw two darts at us, but on the firing of two or three muskets loaded with small shot, they took to the woods, and we saw them no more”

  6. Will need aged care services between 11 and 17 years earlier than will non-Indigenous citizens • Are between 1.8 and 2.4 more times likely to suffer a disability
