  2. Besides Me there is “No Savior”! 8 Lead out those who have eyes but are blind, who have ears but are deaf. 9 All the nations gather together and the peoples assemble. Which of them foretold this and proclaimed to us the former things? Let them bring in their witnesses to prove they were right, so that others may hear and say, “It is true.”

  3. Besides Me there is “No Savior”! 10 “You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me. 11 I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from me there is no savior.

  4. Besides Me there is “No Savior”! 12 I have revealed and saved and proclaimed—I, and not some foreign god among you. You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “that I am God. 13 Yes, and from ancient days I am he. No one can deliver out of my hand. When I act, who can reverse it?” (Isa 43:8-13 NIV)

Besides Me there is “No Savior”! • Why did the Savior of the world come? • First of all to give repentance. • Second, to give forgiveness. 38 “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

  6. Besides Me there is “No Savior”! • Peter preached repentance and forgiveness! • You cannot have one without the other. • Because of the death of Jesus Christ, you and I can be forgiven!

  7. Besides Me there is “No Savior”! 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:15-16 KJV)

  8. Besides Me there is “No Savior”! • “Touched with the feeling of our infirmities” • Did you hear that He is “touched” • In His heart He is feeling what we feel. • He is touched…..or moved to compassion by our “infirmities” = “WEAKNESS”

  9. Besides Me there is “No Savior”! • “Tempted in “ALL POINTS” • He knows what it is to be tempted! • We think that we are the only ones tempted the way we are. • He knows folks!

  10. Besides Me there is “No Savior”! • “Yet without sin” • Here is the difference between Me and Jesus Christ. • Here is the problem with many Christians today…. • they fail to realize that they are NOT PERFECT!!!

  11. Besides Me there is “No Savior”! • The Bible tells us that “ALL have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God.” • EVERYBODY • Not a one of us deserves to sit in this assembly today.

  12. Besides Me there is “No Savior”! • But thanks be to God for the Savior! • I’m so glad for the last part of that scripture… 16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receivemercyand find grace to help us in our time of need. (Heb 4:16 NIV)

  13. Besides Me there is “No Savior”! 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.

  14. Besides Me there is “No Savior”! 6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

  15. Besides Me there is “No Savior”! 7He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.

  16. Besides Me there is “No Savior”! 8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away. And who can speak of his descendants? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was stricken. (Isaiah 53:5-8 NIV)

  17. Besides Me there is “No Savior”! • Aren’t you glad for Jesus today • Aren’t you glad for forgiveness? • Aren’t you glad there is repentance!? • Aren’t you glad for the altar? • Aren’t you clad for the cross of Calvary?

  18. Besides Me there is “No Savior”! 10 Yet it was the LORD’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the LORD makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand.

  19. Besides Me there is “No Savior”! 11 After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.

  20. Besides Me there is “No Savior”! 12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. (Isaiah 53:10-12)
