  2. General Strategy –Quality Concerns • Web age: Anybody can put anything on the web at any time! • Positive: easy and free to speak. • Negative: easy and free to make mistakes. • Presumed “guilty”. • Always check who publishes the web. • Always check contact information.

General Strategy –reading & surfing • Web Surfing can be time consuming and frustrating. • Reading helps surfing. • Know the Jargons- some examples: • Non tariff barriers (WTO), but measures having equivalent effect to quantitative restrictions (EU). • Antitrust (U.S), but Competition Law (EU).

  4. General Strategy –Search Engine search • Advanced search • And, or, not, etc. • http://www.google.com

  5. General Strategy –$ & Search Engine • Some search engines give you more than you want. Reason? – commercials! • Ranking may be a trick. The one on the top may not be the best.
