In all honesty it looks like the juice that you see from a can of black olives. Funny, but true. What is not funny is how well this serum performs on the skin. The ingredients in this serum are top notch, with L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Retinol (from Vitamin A), Alpha Tocopherol (Vitamin E) and Kojic Acid all big players helping to keep skin looking younger and to prevent sun damage. Kojic Acid also brighten the skin. Arbutin and Bioflavonoids are also in this serum as anti-oxidants and Arbutin helps brighten the skin. The patented Olive Leaf Extracts act as an anti-fungal and as an anti-inflammatory agent. Use this serum in the morning, not the night for best results. It helps to protect against UV damage from the sun. Most serums are used at night but this one is for use during the day. It is a preventative and healing serum.
Collagen production is kicked into gear from the Vitamin C and it also helps to keep fine lines and wrinkles at bay. Retinol, a stable form for use during the day, is included to help with fine lines and wrinkles too. Vitamin E is included for wound healing. What a great serum. I am very happy with this and how well it performs. I experienced a brightening and firming effect from this, as well as an anti-inflammatory effect too. I had a leftover mark from a blemish and this healed it right up. Right away. Definitely a great product for healing. The serum brightens skin with its brightening ingredients. It firms skin too.
