Problem Statement The client's business model encompassed seven key dimensions with multiple permutations & combinations, each requiring careful consideration and financial planning across multiple departments. These interconnected factors presented a dynamic challenge as traversing through the sparse data points was needed. The approach was ultimately observed as the non-productive element of their process, and the client needed help to identify the right combinations to plan effectively. During periods of high concurrency, the client also faced challenges in platform performance, making it nearly impossible to work seamlessly and simultaneously in the model. Key Challenges 1 The high model size was almost 120 GB, reaching the workspace threshold of 130 GB, resulting in diminished performance. 2 Delayed and inefficient planning due to data sparsity in the model. The users were increasingly frustrated and sought a transformative solution to streamline their data input processes that would enable them to achieve faster and more efficient results. 3 As the business grew, there was a need to add new cost and profit centers.
