However, they all fall short of offering a comprehensive framework that can be used as a single source of reference, models, templates, and guidelines for definition and institutionalization of BPM Governance in one’s organization. The purpose of this Article is to define requirements of a comprehensive BPM Governance Framework and to outline the contents of such a framework using the Open Group’s framework for general and SOA governance as a useful pattern.
