  1. Different Types and Benefits Of Radiant Barriers Insulations Installing radiant barrier insulation can maintain the energy of your house according to your particular needs. It is specially installed to prevent the direct sun heat from getting inside the house and vice versa in the condition of cooling. Radiant Barriers reflect Radiant Heat transfer from one side to another due to the reflective surface and keep the pleasant environment of the house in all weather conditions. There are five types of radiant barriers insulation which can be used for installing according to the particular needs of the house such as: 1. Single-sided insulation: In this type of insulation a material foil is used on the inner side of the surface along with the coating of polypropylene or craft paper. While inside the foil and craft paper another product like fiber gets filled to make the foil strengthened. Fiber webbing between the foil and craft paper is the most important job as the foil can be damaged over time. It is mostly used to cover the ceiling and attic walls in order to make it cool and warm in diverse weather conditions. 2. Foil-faced roof sheathing: This insulation material comes from a foil facing adhered to one side of the sheathing it doesn’t offer any thermal benefit unless the foil faces an air space. In other words, when the walls are hot, the amount of radiant heat gets transmitted by the surface to the insulation underneath will be less than if traditional casing were used. 3. Double-sided Foil Insulation: This material is provided double-sided foil insulation which means it is two-way insulation which will have two layers of foil and these layers can be filled with the material according to the choice of the house owner such as cardboard, fiber webbing, Mylar, or draft paper. 4. Foil-faced insulation: in this type of insulation basically a polyethylene packing, or polyisocyanurate material is used to put off the heat conduction. It increases comfort in the room and also helps in reducing the utility bills. Foil-faced insulation product is designed to slow down the heat transfer from one side to another and enhances acoustical performance. 5. Multi-layered foil systems: In this type of radiant barrier insulation you will have multiple foil layers which will be filled with other material like foam webbing so that the extended layers don’t each other. This insulation is specially designed to hold down the compression difficulties that are provided by the bubble foil as well as single foil insulation products. So you can use this type of radiant barriers insulation for your home or a particular area to enjoy the pleasant environment in all weather conditions like hot, chilled and suffocated.
