  1. The Growth of the Online Grocer: Promising an Exciting Future for the Indian household! Today’s online grocery shops provide you with all you could possibly need. These products include fruits and vegetables, grocery and staples as well as imported and gourmet products besides beverages and branded foods. Known as the virtual grocer, today’s online stores have changed the way we always looked at shopping as an avoidable hassle. The convenience of placing an order with the online grocer and asking for the products to be delivered at a time of your choice is perhaps the best thing to have happened to an Indian middle class family. The online grocery stores have changed our lifestyle. It is important to find out what future is in store for the virtual grocer in India. The Growth of Online Grocery in India What makes the growth of online grocery shops certain is that it costs so little to own a domain and thereafter to host the online store especially when you compare with the investment one may have to make in physical infrastructure. While grocery e-tailing is a challenging option it is accompanied with a high percentage in repeat orders. This is because once the customer is satisfied with the first order he will come back for repeat orders. In live cases more than 90% customers have been repeating the orders once every seven days. However, it is worthwhile noting that while it is easy to ship a mobile phone across India, it is not the same thing to deliver a sack of rice or sugar to different cities. For this reason an online grocery store based in Noida may stagnate before jumping to other cities. However, as per reports the Indian retail market is expected to hit INR 43 lakh crore in another two years. It is also very satisfying to know that ours is the sixth largest grocery market in the world.

  2. The online grocery market in India is growing very fast. It is also apparent that this market has a lot of future in its expansion. Reference: promising-an-exciting-future-for-the-indian-household/ https://groceryonlinestore.wordpress.com/2015/10/20/the-growth-of-the-online-grocer-
