  1. Computers: A Journey Through Time The computer is a word derived from the word "compute", which means to calculate. Some people say that COMPUTER stands for Common Operating Machine Purposely Used for Technological and Educational Research. COMPUTER = Arithmetical Logical Unit (ALU) +Control Unit (CU) ALU: Arithmetic Logical Unit is used to carry out arithmetic and logical operation. CU: Control unit is used to change the order of operations in response to stored information. We are going to look at what is computer and how it is going to help us in different ways. by Rachit

Also known as RAM, temporary memory required for the operating system and programs to run. Storage Devices Input and Output Devices Includes hard disk, SSD, USB drives, and memory cards. It stores all your data and applications. Include devices such as keyboard, mouse, printer, scanner, speakers and display. These are the four main components of the computer which help us to gain about the knowledge about the computers.
