  2. About Maharashtra Board The MSBSHSE is a autonomous body established under the Maharashtra Secondary Boards Act 1965. The most prominent task of the board is to conduct the Maharashtra SSC (Class 10) and Maharashtra HSC (Class 12) examinations every year. The exams are conducted in March and Maharashtra board results are declared in June. The exams are conducted throughout the state of Maharashtra, and students studying in the Government-run High Schools are required to give this examination for further Secondary Education, for which the admission is given on the basis on merit.
