Title of the Idea - 1: Design and Development of an Affordable Portable Ventilator System for Patient Emergency Support (Ref.No:IDEATS002841) Description The Covid-19 pandemic has caused havoc throughout the world. In all countries, nationwide lockdown was imposed in the wake of a formidable adversary, the Covid-19 pandemic. With the number of cases increasing exponentially, hospitals faced a dangerous shortage of life-saving equipment and personnel. To overcome the shortage of these devices, we have decided to make a portable ventilator prototype using Arduino. It will works in different modes, depending on the patient's needs. Title of the Idea - 4: Water Quality Monitoring System-it aims to determine the contamination of water and leakage Within the pipeline and also automatic measuring of parameters such as temperature, pH value, flow color, and conductivity in real time (Ref.No: IDEATS002847) DESCRIPTION This project relates to a smart water quality monitoring system. Safe water is becoming a scarce resource, due to the combined effects of increased population, pollution, and climate changes. Water quality monitoring is thus paramount, especially for domestic water. Traditionally used laboratory-based testing approaches are manual, costly, time consuming, and lack real-time feedback. Recently developed systems utilizing wireless sensor network technology have reported weaknesses in energy management, data security, and communication coverage. Due to the recent advances in Internet-of-Things (IoT) that can be applied in the development of more efficient, secure, and cheaper systems with real-time capabilities, for domestic applications.

Title of the Idea - 6: Device to Improve Switching Speed and Provide Better Sensitivity at Low Frequencies (Ref.No: IDEATS002839) • DESCRIPTION • This works relates generally to RF switch (Radio Frequency Switch). • More particularly, relates to a PIN 10 diode based RF switch with molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) as an intrinsic layer • to improve switching speed and to provide better sensitivity at low frequencies. Device to Improve switching speed • BACKGROUND • Electrical switches (RF switches) are widely used in microwave and millimeter wave integrated circuits (MMICs) for many telecommunications applications, including signal routing devices, impedance matching networks, and • adjustable gain amplifiers, tunable preselectors, frequency synthesizers as well as automotive applications. • RF switch or Microwave switch is a device to route high frequency signals through transmission paths. • RF switches are extensively employed in microwave test benches and as antennae in trans-receiver systems. • However the functionality of these RF switches exhibits extensive changes with changes in the intrinsic layer present in the PIN diode which throws light on some of the backdrops of the PIN diode. The PIN diode acts as a current controlled resistance which has less value when diode is forward biased and exhibits as if an open circuit path for reverse bias condition. • The intrinsic layer in the PIN diode is made of single layer silicon, which has a minority carrier life • time of approximately 32 milliseconds and in order of 10-9s when silicon is heavily doped. This carrier life time is directly proportional to the Reverse Recovery Time of the diode (Trr) which in turn limits the switching speed of the • device. Also it is clear that RF switches are applicable only at high frequencies because of their less sensitivity to low frequencies. Hence there is need to overcome inferiorities of solid state PIN diode based RF switches.
