  1. TajMahotsav 2022 February 18 February 27 The TajMahotsav 2022 is a 10-day cultural festival held in Agra every year. It is the most well-known art, craft, culture, and gourmet festival, held at the crossroads of winter and spring.

  2. ‘AazadikeAmritMahotsav sang, Tajke rang‘ is the theme of this year’s 10-day celebration.

  3. The TajMahotsav is celebrated every year since 1992 at Shilpgram near the Eastern gate of the TajMahal. The 10 days long carnival showcases India's rich art, craft, cultures, cuisine, dance and music. 

  4. There will be an Arts and Craft Mela where 400 artisans from different parts of the country will display their exquisite works of art like the wood/stone carvings from Tamil Nadu, bamboo/cane work from northeast India, Paper mash work from South India and Kashmir, the marble and zardozi work from Agra, etc. 

  5. Apart from the exquisite craft work, you can enjoy folk and classical music and dances of various regions, especially the BrijBhumi which is still performed in the same way as it was centuries ago.

  6. The festival also has a Fun Fair where children can enjoy various rides and other amusements.
