  1. How to Select an Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) For your Computer If power supply comes to halt when you are using a computer, you will notice that your system might suddenly crash. This situation might affect your system leading to the closure of web pages and system might get damaged.

  2. Standby UPS Unit This type of unit charges its battery from the main power. When the power goes off, the system doesn’t get stop but the standby UPS connected to it switches to battery backup. This whole process is done within less than 1 second.

  3. Line-Interactive UPS unit This type of unit is similar to that of standby UPS unit but also include a special transformer with it. This transformer helps in making the line interactive and handles burnouts easily. The UPS unit is beneficial for those where power failure is very often.

  4. Online UPS unit This type of UPS unit is the most expensive as it needs an extra circuitry. This unit isolates the device attached to it from the power plug and when the power goes off the unit filters the main power through the battery system.
