Mumbai, The City of Dreams a.k.a the fashion capital of India & IT’S NOT NEWS THAT Mumbai loves to experiment with colours patterns & STYLES; basically anything new for a elegant & authentic look. According to the FLATS in Mumbai & the owners, style & finesse on the inside is just as important. So that way Mumbai is up to speed with the trends in Home Décor as well.

  3. Here are some major trends for 2018, if you want to be at par with all the others.

  4. FLOORING Mumbai’s climate is usually very consistent (Humid); which is why Marble & Granite floors are the most preferred, since they don’t stain & are quite durable. Another big favourite is tiles, with different designs and patterns dominating the market. There’s an abundance of choice here, if you want to stand out.

  5. COLOURS Like every year has a favourite, this year’s is the Pastel trend. A lot of the top interior designers have suggested people try pastel colours to make their interiors look more aesthetic. Pastels alone won’t do the trick though. So it’s important you match it with the right kind of Wood too.

  6. PATTERNS Patterns& prints are the new ‘In’ thing. That’s how the Aztec prints & Abstract patterns dived in the Mumbai market, and they never left. The Aztec prints & Abstract shapes work well as wallpapers on light walls or furniture even for that matter.

  7. While there are a lot of advantages to having a flats in Mumbai that you can design, the when, where & how are very important along with the location, the space & most importantly the budget.
