  1. Online One Person Company Registration One Person Company (OPC) is a type of private limited company with a single director and shareholder. The government has introduced the concept of OPC just to promote sole proprietorship means business with the single owner. It is registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) through the Registrar of Companies (ROC) in whose jurisdiction the registered office of the company is situated. There is no minimum capital required to one person company registration but the maximum capital can be Rs. 25 Lakhs if this limit exceeds then the company has to convert itself from OPC to either a private limited company or public limited company as per their requirement. Minimum one director is required in this company but a maximum of 15 persons can be appointed as a director in the company. This company has all the features like other companies for example it is a separate legal entity, director and shareholder has limited liability, perpetual succession, etc. the company can buy properties on its own name including trademark and patent, etc. In OPC one member and one nominee are required, the company cannot issue shares to any other person other than its member. The name of the company must have “(OPC) private limited” or “(OPC) Pvt Ltd” at the end of the name of the company. The name is valid for only 20 days once it is approved and the procedure of registration must be completed within these days otherwise the name will get expired and for further proceeding, a new name will be applied. 2.Digital signature: The director and shareholder must have DSC before filing the registration application because the form shall be signed by DSC only. 3.Preparation & signing of documents: After name approval, there are certain documents that shall be drafted and the same shall be signed by the director, shareholder & nominee of the company. 4.Submission of final form: After preparation of all documents the final form shall be filled with relevant information and signed by the director or shareholder and the same shall be filed to the registrar for their approval. 5.Issuance of certificate of incorporation: If the registrar is satisfied with the application they will grant the certificate of incorporation and along with the certificate they will issue PAN, TAN, DIN of the director.
