  2. BRITTANY & MONICA It’s always a good day when I get to photograph an Austin, Texas downtown engagement! Brittany (she/her) and Monica(she/her) were a dream to be able to capture and tell their love story. There are so many ways to make your engagement session unique and tailored to you and your partner. You can include activities you enjoy doing as a couple, places you like visiting together, and so much more! THEIR LOVE STORY … Brittany & Monica met with mutual friends while in relationships. Once those previous relationships ended, they were brought together by a group chat and relatable tweet. They haven’t stopped talking since! They first started out long distance, living 5+ hours away from each other. That did not stop their love from blossoming. During this time apart, they watched the same shows, sports, and communicated every hour until they finally met. Brittany and Monica met at San Francisco pride, and they said it felt so natural being together! AUSTIN, TEXAS DOWNTOWN ENGAGEMENT I love getting to know my couples, and their love story because it helps plan out their sessions. This way we can make it unique and best represent them as a couple. They had many twists and turns in their relationship, and one element that brought Brittany and Monica together was basketball. I thought it would be really special to include it in their session. We started their engagement session day off at a brewery where they shared laughs, shared pizza, and cozied up on a couch together. Then, we headed to a basketball court where we had so much fun! Lastly, we ended their session in the heart of Austin, downtown.

  3. Monica’s one word to describe their 7+ year relationship: laugh. They said there isn’t one day that goes by that they aren’t hunched over laughing. What an amazing life to be able to be with someone that makes you laugh that damn hard all the time! Overall, it was a perfect way to tell their love story.
