  5. Boolean Operators-- OR OR • Searches for material containing either of the search terms • “plant” OR “human” will produce information on either “plant” or “human” or “plant and human” • Broadens the search plant human Plant AND human

  6. Boolean Operators-- Not NOT • Searches for material which contains term A but does not contain term B • “plant” NOT “human” will produce information on everything to do with plant except human plant NOT human
