National Activities (2) • Request to the Federal Council Positive decision on 6 June 2008 Sustainable funding for: (a) important climate measurement series (CO2, Lakes, Snow cover, Glaciers, Permafrost, Phenology) (b) international data centres: WGMS, Euro-Climhist • Submission of historical daily values of precipitation, minimum and maximum temperature of Säntis and Grand St. Bernard (Jan 1864 - Dec 2006) to NCDC • Representativeness analysis of temperature and precipitation stations in Switzerland (Begert, 2008) temperature: 28 NBCN stations are sufficient precipitation: additional 46 stations NBCN-P
