1. Admission Policy The Step by Step school is a well ordered, caring community in which relationships are based on mutual respect, and rules are applied consistently and fairly. We value the pursuit of academic excellence, the achievement of the individuals’ potential and contributions made to the life of the wider community. We encourage our children to develop self-discipline and respect and value the achievements, values and beliefs of others. We help our children to understand themselves and others, and to seek significance and purpose in all their experiences. Our values are reflected in all our policies and in the attitudes and conduct of our staff. An inclusive school by design SBS Noida has a carefully thought through Special Education Needs program providing opportunities for differently abled children through their lives in school. Application Procedure- All applications for admissions are to be submitted online. Montessori– •As per the NEP 2020, eligibility for Montessori is 3+ years as on 31st July, of the Academic Year of which admission is sought. Online applications open in the months of September and October every year. Kindergarten to Class XII – •Students are admitted to the school throughout the year depending on the vacancies arising in any given class. A student seeking admission to any class will be eligible for admission to that class only if he/she - (i) has been studying in a school recognised by or affiliated to this Board or any other recognised Board of Secondary Education in India: (ii) has passed qualifying or equivalent qualifying examination making him eligible for admission to that class: (iii) satisfies the requirements of age limits (minimum & maximum) as determined by the State/U.T. Government and applicable to the place where the School is located: (iv) produces: - (a) the School Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate signed by the Head of the Institution last attended and countersigned; and, (b) documents(s) in support of his having passed the qualifying or equivalent qualifying examination.
