Dog Boarding for the Love of Dogs According to a study done by the American Pet Products Association (APPA) pet grooming and boarding account for $6.16 billion of the monies spent on pets each in the United States each year. The “pet industry” has become a massive money-making machine over the decades and while that’s perfectly fine for many instances, if we lose sight of the primary reason these necessary services such as local dog grooming and dog boarding exist, there could be dire consequences. Our dogs are family members. They are beloved adopted relatives that we care for and cherish. Keeping them happy, clean and healthy is something we strive for every day.
