Helping Hand to Boost Health Care Services in Rural India – Sewa Bharti Madhya Malwa In a country as populous as India and where more than half the population resides in rural areas, providing basic health care services in rural India is more of a challenge for the government. In the face of such a situation, a number of top NGOs in India actively take up the task and are involved in the noble cause of providing medical treatment to those sections of society that either do not have access to even the basic health care facilities or cannot pay for them. Rural healthcare is one of the most challenging tasks in India as a major portion of the country comes under this category. People don't avail of quality healthcare services due to lack of infrastructure, medical specialists, availability of medicines and other basic amenities. This has led to an increase in mortality rates in villages. Sewa Bharti was founded in the year 1989. Organization had resolved to work for welfare of the economically weaker sections of the society. We mainly work between Remote Tribal Communities & Urban Slum Residents. Education, Health, Skill Development, Rural Development & Communal Harmony are the main areas of work. Sewa Bharti operates more than 1.75 Lac centers nation wide.We have more than 3000 dedicated volunteers from all walks of life. Sewa Bharti Madhya Bharat different centers operate in different centers in Madhya Bharat region of MP some as Bhopal, Guna, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Dabra, Itarsi, Betul. Sewa Bharti provides various healthcare facilities In the slums and forest dwellers and rural areas, including rural health care centers, mobile clinics, resident clinics in urban areas, counseling centers, neuropathy and leprosy medication and rehabilitation centers. Sewa Bharati helps poor patients get medicine for free or for subsidized amounts. Sewa Bharti Madhya Bharat places special emphasis on health and wellness endeavours. We have many health projects running across the Madhya Bharat region.
