  1. How to Choose the Right Squash Ball? Yellow or red? Two or one dot? Yes, you are right, we are talking about the Squash balls but choosing a squash ball depends on other important factors too. In the majority of sports, there is only one type of ball which is suitable from beginners to advanced level players. The Squash game is totally different from other sports. It needs several types of balls so that one can play better game on the court. The main reason for doing that is, every level player can play long rallies and can enjoy the play just like advanced level player. In the coming context, we will discuss types of squash balls and which one will fit best to different playing levels. Choosing a right squash ball is vital factor as it can help to dominate the play right from starting but unfortunately most squash centre sell only yellow doted ball which results in making it expensive game to common people. The squash balls are not well known for providing excellent bounce unless you have a good technique to warm it up and generate enough bounce during the play. The Beginners is obviously tend to lack in this technique and it may lead to give up on the play in the initial stage. This is the fail of centres as they are not creating enough chances by providing different level squash balls. Let’s start with the different types of balls and how they differ from each other, and this will aid next time to grab better squash balls for play. Types of Squash balls and how they differ Dunlop is world-famous for providing high-quality squash balls. They make six different types of a squash ball. Four squash balls are meant to be used by adults whereas two are suitable for children. Adult balls are always black in colour and have one or two colour dots. Moreover, these balls also differ in their bounce and size, which will be discussed in the detail below.

It has the same dimension as of official pro ball but it gives 10% more bounce on the court. It is also the favourite choice of advanced level players as they use it for their training sessions especially when it’s cold weather. The Squash balls which contain a red dot are called Dunlop Progress Squash Ball. These balls are better known for providing good bounce in cold temperatures. It is an ideal ball for recreational players which looks to have a good bounce in squash ball. Last but not the least, the squash balls which contain a blue dot are known as Intro Squash Ball. As it can be guessed by its name, these balls are designed especially for beginners. These are 12% bigger in size as compared to the official ball and has 40% more bounce ability. All this helps in playing better rally by giving some extra time on every shot. Moreover, if you wonder squash balls for children; well that starts from Mini Squash Fun ball and is basically designed from 5 to 7 years old children. As children are in learning phase, it has red colour with no dot on it. These balls are very slow in nature and give better opportunity for higher bounce with clear supervision on the court. Next come, balls from 7 to 10 years old children which is known with the name of Mini Squash Play. With the help of these balls children learn advanced level skill in playful way and make their proper way for better future.
