Then became his model, and then his mistress • Moved to Mexico and lived the bohemian lifestyle while promoting communism • Worked with Manuel Alvarez-Bravo (hair photo) and Diego Rivera when she became the main photographer for the Mexican mural movement • Was deported from Mexico and finally settled in Russia • Worked for the communist government (spy?) • Went back to live in Mexico under a pseudonym • Was thought to have been killed in Mexico
