  2. St. Anne Island was the location of Seychelles’ first settlement in 1770, away from the once crocodile-infested swamps on Mahé

  3. Roughly 20 minutes from Mahé by slow boat, this Marine National Park has one of the largest areas of sea grass of the granitic islands where green and hawksbill turtles are often found.

  4. Bottlenose Dolphins are also frequent in the park.

  5. There are Creole restaurants on the islands of Moyenne and Cerf with a number of excellent gourmet restaurants on Ste. Anne itself.

  6. The St. Anne Marine National Park is an important part of the natural and cultural heritage of the Seychellois people.

  7. Flora: The park is adorned with 75 endemic species of flora, such as mosses, lichens, sea weeds, algae and coastal shrubs and plantations.

  8. Fauna: This park is a home to more than 1000 varieties of fishes, amphibians and reptiles. Vibrant marine fauna is spotted here, which includes eagle rays, pipefish, sea turtles and bottlenose dolphins.
