  2. Orthognathic Surgery Orthognathic surgery is used to correct a wide range of minor and major skeletal and dental irregularities, including the misalignment of jaws and teeth. 

  3. Conditions Indicate The Need of Jaw Surgery • Difficulty chewing, or biting food • Difficulty swallowing • Chronic jaw or jaw joint (TMJ) pain and headache • Excessive wear of the teeth • Open bite

  5. Lower jaw (mandibular osteotomy) A significantly receded lower jaw can be corrected by a procedure called mandibular osteotomy.
