  4. H – Stands for HTML You will have to optimize your site thinking of your HTML. This is an on page optimization. So be sure you have the right title for your page. Remember to use your keyword in the title. Make a description for your page – again your keyword is important. You will find your description here. <head> <meta name=”description” content=”This is an example of a meta description. This will often show up in search results.”> </head> Meta descriptions can be very lengthy – but the search engines generally doesn’t show more than 160 characters. So keep it between 150 and 160 characters. It’s no more a ranking factor but it will show up on the result page. 5. E – Stands for Elements on your homepage You will have to be careful about the elements on your page. Especially if you are thinking of doing a redesign of your home page. You might consider how you can make a redesign of your homepage so you can generate more leads than you do now. There are a lot of critical elements you need to incorporate into your homepage. You need to tell your customers about their benefits from buying your product. But most of the people on the internet will only spend up to 10 second on a homepage before going to another page. So you will have to be very clear about your design. You might say that this is not a ranking factor – but it is. A very simple example is the bounce rate. The bounce rate is a ranking factor – and with the elements on your site you can lower your bounce rate. If you put a search bar on your homepage – a lot of people will search – and will see another page then the landing page and that will automatically lower your bounce rate. Amazing right? 6. B – Stands for Backlinks Getting somebody to link to your site is the single most important ranking factor for search engines like Google or Bing. It’s all about getting some link juice to your site – to show the search engines that your site is a great site. There have been a lot of talk about the differences and benefits of dofollow links and nofollow links for search engine optimization. Of course it’s good with dofollow because you will get the link juice from one site to the other site. But what about nofollow links. The nofollow links were created by Google. The idea was that Google would not follow the link to crawl its content. So all this means that you will not get any link juice if a website makes a nofollow link to your site right? But you will still get attention and some traffic from the link. And to make your backlinks look natural you got to have both kinds of backlinks. Building backlinks can be a very time consuming process. You will have to search for relevant tropic, contact the sit site owner, maybe do some guest blogging, article marketing or do some commenting on blogs. Read more www.SeoCustomer.com

  7. E – Stands for Error check This might be one of the most overlooks SEO techniques. You can submit your site, sitemap and RSS feed to the Google Webmaster Tools. After you have submitted it – Google will find any errors or other issues your site might have. And you will have to correct the mistakes. Well that was it. It’s really that simple. 8. A – Stands for Architecture The architecture of your site is important too. Is it possible for the search engines to crawl your site? If it’s not possible to crawl – the rest of all your SEO doesn’t really matter. How fast is your site? If it’s too slow your visitors will leave your site before it is finished loading. And remember to check your URL structure. Check both the structure and the names. Do you have some logical categories? And remember to use your keywords in the URL names. Start in the buttom of the SEO pyramid and work your way up. Read more www.SeoCustomer.com

  9. T – Stands for Time In the old marketing days people were saying that the customer was king. Now people are saying content is king. Maybe they are both right. But with the SEO I will say time is king. SEO is not working today or tomorrow. It’s a slow process. You might get some results in 3 or 4 weeks or maybe 2 or 3 months from now. So it’s important that you give it time to work. It’s just like building a brand. It takes time. How can people trust your product if they don’t know your name. How can the search engines trust and like your site if they don’t know it. If you are working with backlinks you will know that it takes time too. It’s an ongoing process. Google and other search engines will know you more and more. And it will give you a very personalize and local result for you.
