Gallstones are a kind of stone that occurs in the gallbladder or bile ducts (the liver's pipe-like system). Gallstones can be as little as grains of sand or as large as golf balls. Surprisingly, little stones are the most difficult to remove. These are stones that can become trapped in the gallbladder after passing through it.<br><br><br>
