  1. Garmin Express not working It is can be quite tiring to constantly receive messages titled Garmin Express not working. However, it can be even more tiring when you keep trying to solve the issue but nothing seems to work. Here we’ll take you through the issues you may be facing and how they can be solved.

  2. System RequirementsIf even one of your system specifications is incompatible, problems may arise for you. Compare the prerequisites in the device manager present in your control panel. Software UpdateAs a regular user, you should keep checking for new software updates. To confirm that the latest version is installed in your computer, go to your Garmin official Page and check if there is any update available and if there is any then apply it on your software.

  4. Advanced Solutions when Garmin Express is not working When Windows upgrades to Windows 10 Sometimes Garmin Express does not work when you upgrade to Windows 10. In such a scenario, your best bet is to run the compatibility trouble shooter for the program. Begin with going to the search bar and typing troubleshooting. Click on it and in the window that opens, select view all. Now, to begin the process of trouble shooting, click on Program Compatibility. Follow the instructions on the screen in order to run the trouble shooter. Fix the issue once it is detected. If you continue to face the problem, another fix can be to switch to compatibility mode and installing Garmin Desktop software. From a source that can be deemed reliable, download Garmin Express and go to the setup file. Right click on it and select the option titled Properties. In the window that opens up, click on Compatibility and look for a checkbox titled Run this program in Compatibility mode. Tap on it and install Garmin Express. Be sure to check its functionality. To do so, you will have to run the command prompt as the administrator and step by step type the following commands and then press ENTER.

Now, on the services tab in the same window, tap on the checkbox titled hide all Microsoft services and disable it all. Then go to the startup tab and select the Open Task Manager. In the window that is opens next, go to each startup item, right click on it and disable it. Lastly, restart your system and then check your application.

Now right click on Express.exe, GarminService.exe and GarminTray.exe individually. Lastly, delete these and confirm your choice. In order to start working as usual, close the current window and reopen Garmin Express.
