First wish • Originated in USA (Arizona State) in 1980 • First wish was granted to a 7 year child Chris Gracious (chorionic patient of Leukemia) wish was to become a police man • He was awarded with police badge, outfit, helicopter ride and all privileges of a state police personnel's. • Awarded honorary seat of COP till his life and it was first ever incident in the American History. • His parents and community members who helped to fulfilled his wish start this foundation for other child also.

Giving Hope, Strength and Joy • Mr. Ishtiaq Baig founder and leader in Pakistan of MAWF • HE is well known Industrialist and head of Baig group of industries • He said • “The main objective of the MAW Pakistan is to enter into the terminally child’s life and bring magic and joy to them”. We know we cannot add days to their life but we certainly can add life to their days.

  7. What is wish Having their ‘wishes’ fulfilled brings much needed relief for the children as they battle their illnesses. It is an opportunity for them to live out their fantasies and focus on something other than their illness; for example "I wish to be a policeman, or a superhero, or a pop-star, for the day". with help of many organizations and individuals to make a child's dream into a magical experience, for memories that they will cherish and draw strength from. Eligibility A child with a life-threatening medical condition who has reached the age of 3 and is under the age of 18 at the time of referral, is potentially eligible for a wish. Success stories Name : Shouaib Aurangzeb Age; 12 years Illness; Thalassemia major Wish: to become army solider and meet with COAS Ceremony arranged in Malir Cantt and was decorated pips of Lieutenant by the Commanding Officer of 43 Azad Kashmir Regiment and made history by becoming the youngest Lieutenant of Pak Army. Name: Waseem Asghar Age : 14 years Illness: Thalassemia Major Wish : to have a meeting with P.M and discuss political affairs On July 9th 2014 he was granted his wish in P.M house Isb Name : Zaid Ilyas Age : 18 years Illness: Thalassemia Major Wish: to become president of Federation of Pakistan chamber of commerce
