  1. Masala Idli or Idli Tadka – Social kitchen Description Masala idli preparation is an easy breakfast recipe. This is usually made with leftover recipes, but we like it so much that we also prepare the dish with fresh idlis as well. This is very simple to cook and everybody loves to have it. It is simple yet delicious. Idli Tadka Ingredients 10-12: Idlis 2 tsp: Mustard seeds 1: Red chili (broken) 1-2: Green Chili (finely Chopped) 2 tbsp: Grated Cocounut 1 tsp: Lemon Juice 7-8: Curry Leaves 1 tbsp: Corainder leaves (finely chopped) 1 tbsp: Ghee/ Oil 1 tsp: Turmeric 1 tsp: Red Chili As per taste: Salt

  2. Directions Firstly, cut the cooked idlis in cubes. One idli would yield around 7-8 small cubes. Heat oil in a pan. Add the mustard seeds. Let it crackle. Add the broken red chili and curry leaves. Let it splutter. Now add the idli cubes. Add the turmeric powder, green chili, red chili and salt. Toss well. Now add the Grated coconut. Cook for one minute. Add the coriander leaves and lemon juice. Now add the Grated coconut. Cook for one minute. Add the coriander leaves and lemon juice. Serve with coconut corainder chutney or Podi chutney. Masala idlis can be served warm or at room temperature. Visit More: http://socialkitchen.co.in/
