What is HEI? • Implemented Winter 1998 by the Ohio Board of Regents • Comprehensive web-based relational data warehouse for student demographics, course information, facilities, faculty, finance, financial aid and academic programs • Designed to calculate state subsidy for AND track enrollments between our 38 state supported post secondary institutions. $2 Billion distributed annually. • Over 580,000 students enrolled in 108,000 courses taught by 50,000 faculty. • Limitations • Detailed enrollment data on public institutions only • SSN tracking
