EATCHIP Human Resources Domain • EATCHIP is a joint venture • The EATCHIP Human Resources Domain is a focus for this cooperation in: • manpower planning and management • recruitment and selection • training and personnel licensing • human factors • Over 30 deliverables developed, tested and released

  3. Deliverables • Deliverables include: • strategic and tactical planning tools • surveys to identify availability and estimates of staff needs in Europe over the next 5-10 years • task and job analyses against job mutation • development of Team Resource Management programmes

  4. Deliverables (continued) • programmes to enhance quality of operational training • identification of common training requirements • human factors modules for ATCOs, technical and support staff • implementation of training courses and modules to meet the requirements

  5. Guiding Principles • Pro-active, common development and appropriate implementation support • Effort to generate economies of scale, knowledge sharing and pooling of experience • Good strategic human resources planning • Awareness of change and need for more flexible and adaptable knowledge-based workforce
