The G4 • Perfect “All Built In” solution for control, management and monitoring computer rooms and data-centers. • An unique integrated solution that ensures full control of equipments, real time detection of faults and immediate notifications to users. • Works on LAN/WAN network, • Includes GSM modem

Features • Accepts input from up to 5 temperature sensors. • 8 inputs dry contacts. • 4 outputs dry contacts. • RS232 serial connection for power devices (UPS / rectifiers). • Ethernet line interface 10/100 Base auto detect. Network protocols : TCP/IP, UDP/IP, HTTP, SNMP v2, DNS, PPP, SMTP, TELNET,MODBUS client . • Internal cellular modem support GPRS/GSM – Dual or Quad band. • Antenna and SIM card connection.

Control and monitor of IT equipments • Reading and analysis information through SNMP of IT equipments like: servers, switches, printers, … • Features analyzed: CPU load, virtual and physical memory used, used and free space capacity for all SNMP (RFC2790 ) supported equipments. • Check Availability of equipment by ping requests. • Automatic shutdown up to 32 servers in UPS AC failure or a critical event defined by user –for more than 32 need additional Gamatronic’s software called “PSM”. • Wake up servers in the way of “WAKE ON LAN” - (Bios configuration) andwake with delay availability. • SNMP trap to management centers use SNMP manager like: What‘s Up, HP Open View, CA. • SNMP restriction to set/get by community and IP – G4 may use as a server/client SNMP.

Monitoring power systems • G4 performs real time verification of Gamatronic and other UPS’s and power systems manufacturers. • immediate alarm notification such as: AC fail, Low battery, on Battery… . • G4 notifies and operates accordingly: => Shutdown server for prevent damage to IT equipments and data bases, =>send SMS/EMAIL/SNMP trap to relevant users.

  12. Dry contacts • Work with relays that define the status to normally open/close • G4 will detect every changes of these states and immediately notify users . DRY IN: • 8 dry contacts inputs to receive alarms from different sensors such as: Air conditions, doors, smoke detectors, fire detector ,flood and more. • Contacts can be enable/disable in certain hour during the day according to user preferences. DRY OUT: • 4 dry contacts outputs for remote activation of different devices like: Back up air condition, lamp, alarm, gates and more. • Contacts can be activated automatically in one of following cases: 1) status’ change of a certain dry contact IN. 2) High temperature alarm. 3) IT alarm. 4) UPS alarm.

Environment Temperature • G4 can monitor up to 5 temperature measurements sensors (one is provided by default). • All sensors can be configured with high/low limit ,description name and Hysteresis that prevent falsehood notifications when the sensor is in the limit between the normal and critical temperature.

  16. Control via SMS • The G4 can send notifications up to 10 mobile phone numbers. These numbers may also have a full control on the unit. • A “status” SMS command reply a short answer of Fail/OK on following parameters: IT monitoring, environment, dry contacts, UPS . • All critical commands will require SMS password and a flag authorization in the WEB interface – near all phone number , • user can mark the number he wants to authorize full control option. • User can choose to receive a status notification from G4 from time to time. Critical commands example: • Shutdown server, wake up server, change dry contact status (open, close, pulse), get the G4’s IP.

Additional features • Hardware is not dependent to an external server. • Built- In AJAX based web interface - enables accessibility thru every remote internet browser. • Event group- user can define a group of events he wants and refer them to a particular phone target. • Internal 256 event log available through web server or SNMP. • GPRS communication: where the LAN/WAN network isn’t accessible. • Can operates with the Gamatronic “PSM AC UNIVERSAL” software to increase the shutdown target to more than 32 devices. • Can operates with Gamatronic “GEMSI software” for monitoring several G4 units and other UPS models.
