  2. What is Driver CPC? Driver Certificate of Professional Competence, commonly refers to as Driver CPC or DCPC for short, is legally necessary for all expert HGV and PCV drivers, with certain exceptions. The principles apply to drivers of vehicle classes C1, C, C+E, D1, D, and D+E.

  3. There are two types of Driver CPC: DCPC is known as Driver Certificate of Professional Competency (Initial) 01 02 DCPC (Periodic Training)

  4. Driver CPC has three objectives: 01 Improve road security & Safety Expand current driver knowledge, for example, driver hours, advanced tachographs, standards and guidelines and so forth. 02 Guarantee new participants have the necessary abilities and knowledge to complete their obligations as expert drivers. 03 04

  5. Final Thoughts Many driver CPC training institutes have CPC training for companies. Logistics companies have a large number of driver employees and they have to regularly provide them training, in that case, they can always consult driver CPC training institutes who provide training for multiple drivers at an affordable rate.
