  1. Top Beaches of St Barts The island of St Barts has many stunning beaches, some small and some large, but almost all surrounded by rugged cliffs and have fine golden sands. It is no wonder that it is well-known as being a favourite haunt of the rich and famous. If you a Caribbean vacation home here, then you need to check out these amazing beaches during your stay. Saline Beach The great thing about this beach is that there are no resorts located directly on the beach, meaning it is usually pretty quiet and undisturbed by tourism. It is large both in depth and length, with the rocky coastline creating a perfect cove. There is ample parking just a short walk away from the beach, so you can drive straight from your villa in St Barts. Colombier Beach This is without a doubt the most famous beach on the island, and for good reason. It has stunning sunsets every night, and by day it is almost the definition of tropical paradise, palm fringed and golden. Just be aware that is the beach that most tours and day trips visit, so it can get fairly busy.

  2. St Jean Beach This is another of the most popular beaches on the island, therefore it is usually pretty busy. It is located at the foot of the airport landing strip, which can be quite impressive when the planes come in, although very noisy. Some people come to the beach for the experience of watching the planes alone. Grand cul-de-sac Beach The stronger winds on this side of the island make this beach a popular spot for adrenaline junkies, and you will see plenty of surfers and kite surfers out on the water. It is also a popular spot for families thanks to the crystal clear shallow waters which are perfect for paddling and snorkelling. Flamands Beach The practically empty shores of Flamands Beach are sure to make you fall in love. It is backed by a few nice hotels and offers great views of a cluster of islands just off of the shore. The west facing shoreline also offer a lovely view of the sunset over the hills.
