About Tacking Point Tavern (Coming Soon) Tacking Point Tavern is currently undergoing an exciting multi-million dollar refurbishment – with the result being a state of the art, family friendly venue. Work will be staged across 2017 with Stage 1 (ready in July) focusing on sports and lounge bars, new bottleshop, beer garden with stage for live entertainment and also a giant TV screen for big screen sport, and Stage 2 (launching in November) including bistro and large format children’s play area.
