Tutorials and Quiz Android Mobile application is an application which gives you brief tutorials on various programming languages and technologies to the user who has installed this application. It gives video tutorials and training on different technologies. This application also conducts a quiz to the user who is interested in a particular technology for checking their knowledge on the subject. It has different levels like Basic Level and Advanced Level quiz. This application conducts a quiz in the form of multiple choice questions. After the completion of the quiz the application generates reports based on the quiz conducted. The user can also test their knowledge on those technologies based on a timed quiz, we can include the above technology questions in this application. We can give a time frame for each question and all the questions are to be answered in that specified time period. Say for example we can give 10 seconds to answer a question. If the user gives an incorrect answer, will be exited out of the quiz.

  4. Quiz A quiz is a form of game or mind sport, in which the players (as individuals or in teams) attempt to answer questions correctly. It is a game to test your knowledge about a certain subject. In some countries, a quiz is also a brief assessment used in education and similar fields to measure growth in knowledge, abilities, and/or skills. Quizzes are usually scored in points and many quizzes are designed to determine a winner from a group of participants – usually the participant with the highest score. 1.Etymology: - The first attested use of the word is from 1781 and means an odd person. This sense survives today in the word quizzical. It was also used in the term quizzing glass, a common accoutrement of British Regency dandies. It later acquired a meaning of to make fun of, or to mock. How it acquired its current meaning of a test is unknown, but that sense did not appear until 1867 and then it was in the United States. The Oxford English Dictionary attests the use of the verb quiz to mean "to question or interrogate", with a reference from 1843: "She come back an' quested us", which could be a clue to its origin. The American Heritage Dictionary says it may be from the English dialect verb quest, meaning "to question". In any case it is probably from the same root as question and inquisitive. There is a well-known myth about the word quiz that says that in 1791 a Dublin theater owner named Richard Daly made a bet that he could introduce a word into the language within 24 hours. He then went out and hired a group of street urchins to write the word "quiz", which was a nonsense word, on walls around the city of Dublin. Within a day, the word was common currency and had acquired a meaning and Daly had some extra cash

  5. in his pocket. However, there is no evidence to support the story, and the term was already in use before the alleged bet in 1791. 2.As competitions: - Quizzes may be held on a variety of subjects (general knowledge, 'pot luck') or subject- specific. The format of the quiz can also vary. Popularly known competition quizzes include…… Pub quizzes Quiz bowl In Australia: Music for the Mission In Belgium: Belgian Style Quizzing In Canada: Reach for the Top In India: Quizzing in India is different from American and British quizzing in that it is diverse, with different genres catering to different geographical regions, age groups, and interests. In the United Kingdom: British Quizzing Championships, annual national tournament in Great Britain Schools' Challenge University Challenge (televised) TV quizzes, also called quiz shows (game shows TV/radio) Bait Bazi poetic quiz Bamboozle! A Teledex quiz on UK TV

  6. World record The largest quiz, according to Guinness, was the "Quiz for Life", held at the Flanders Expo Halls in Ghent, Belgium, on 11 December 2010 with 2,280 participants. The winning team Café De Kastaar from Leuven consisted of Marnix Baes, Erik Derycke, Eric Hemelaers, Bart Permentier and Tom Trogh. Erik Derycke (born 1970) is a Belgian quiz player best known for his success with the national team and his double gold at the European Quizzing Championships (EQC) 2007 with his partner Tom Trogh. He has been a national team member since 2003 when his team won the "England- Belgium interland", the precursor of the EQC. Derycke has won three European titles in 2005, 2006 and 2008, Silver in five other competitions and Bronze in 2011 with the national site. Tom Trogh (born 17 June 1984) is a Belgian quiz player who has won several international titles with the national team of quizzing powerhouse Belgium. He has established himself as the third best player of his country behind Ronny Swiggers and Nico Pattyn. Like all Belgian stars he is an amateur, he works as an actuary in a life insurance company. He has been a member of the National Team since 2006 and has won two European team titles (EQC) in 2006 and 2008, four Silver medals in 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2013, and twice Bronze in 2011 and 2012.

  7. Engagement Quizzes Rate Quizzes are the secret weapon of your content marketing strategy. Quiz marketing is personalized to the individual user making it a fun and useful audience engagement strategy that is ideal for social sharing. The Content Marketing Institute found interactive quiz tools improves click-through rates by 14%, and conversion rates by 10% (but Further Insights has seen engagement rates higher than that! We average 90% completion rates across all quizzes, and our recent campaign with Play Network saw an average click-through rate of 55 %!) Quiz Marketing Strategy: - Now it’s time for content marketers to leverage the personalized nature of quizzes as a lead-generation tool. Attract and convert new visitors: Quizzes are ideal “top-of-the-funnel” content assets. They invite visitors to engage with your brand in a way that is more genuine and inclusive than submitting information in a lead capture-form. Imagine repurposing existing awareness content (like checklists and blog posts) in a way that is not only evergreen but also drives conversions and increases sales. Increase brand awareness: Quizzes are made for sharing. They empower audience members to discover and share defining qualities about themselves. The top two factors that motivate people to share content are the desire to entertain and the desire to educate. Promote services or sell products: Quiz marketing is uniquely personalized to the wants and needs of the individual. Through assessments, leads declare information that they wouldn’t or couldn’t volunteer through other content experiences.

  8. Inspire action: Interactive content helps focus the reader’s attention and guide them to an end-goal whether that’s a purchasing behavior or suggested content. Consider a knowledge quiz that assesses a reader understands of a topic or industry problem then guides that reader to relevant downstream content that provides a solution. Gather actionable audience data: The more information brands have about the wants and needs of their customers, the better. Unfortunately, with traditional content strategies, marketers need to play “21 Questions” with their sales leads. 9. Social Media Quiz You all know that using social media is a great way to market your company. Since you’re competing in the market for everyone’s attention, you need to engage with your customers or potential clients in a better way than others do. Our social media quiz guide recommends that you approach this through one of the following ways: Try being honest but positive on the results: compliments on the audience you are dealing with will be appreciated and they can be uplifting. The incorporation of positive emotions will prompt many to share their results. Make use of images: that are catchy in relaying your results; whether it is the background setting, or as part of the result, using images usually does the trick. Since other people will have access to such images after the results are shared, they should evoke emotions in whoever comes into contact with them. Incorporate a call-to-action: plea in your quiz; this kind of spells the way forward after engaging with your audience on the social media quiz. In this guide for quiz creators we recommend call-to-actions as you could direct them to your website to further promote your brand.
