Thomas A GreaneyFormer City Council Candidate Longtime Hoboken resident Thomas A Greaney once made a foray into the world of politics, seizing an opportunity to enter a city council race in Hoboken, New Jersey. He officially announced his candidacy for the second ward seat in the Hoboken City Council on February 4, 2011, challenging then political opponent Beth Mason, who was then the incumbent. As a candidate for Hoboken city council, Thomas A Greaney was looking to take his community in a different direction; to begin work on the repair of the many problems Hoboken was facing at the time.
