  2. Thien Mu is a sacred pagoda and is famous throughout Vietnam. This pagoda is located 5km west of Hue city center and on Ha Khe hill. Visitors can ride a motorbike, take a group bus or take a Dragon boat to reach the pagoda. Surprisingly, Thien Mu is the earliest pagoda built in Hue city. It was built by Lord Nguyen Hoang back in 1601. Visitors here will be curious to hear about the myths surrounding the construction of this temple. The campus of Thien Mu is quite extensive with several notable buildings inside. Most prominent is the Phuoc Duyen Tower stand in the front.   4. The Imperial City is Hue’s most famous historical site and has been a symbol of Vietnam’s power. The architectural complex of Hue Imperial City is built on an area of over 500ha and is divided into 3 rounds in large, small order. This one of a kind architecture is the place where the national meetings and the royal residence of the Nguyen Dynasty took place until 1945. Usually visitors spend up to 4 hours to visit the whole complex. The Imperial City is tremendous with hundreds of large and small works. The buildings inside the Imperial City represent the art and culture of the former Vietnamese feudal dynasty.
