  2. INTRODUCTION Indian is the land of religion in which people worship daily. There are many special places in your Uttarakhand tour packages that have a very prominent place in the Hindu religion. Char Dham means four places. It is a collection of four shrines in India. And Char Dham Yatra is the holiest Yatra of Hindus and every Yatra has a deep connection between a particular God and Goddess.

  3. 1. Yamunotri The westernmost and first river is the source of the sacred Yamuna, the Yamunotri. The main source of this Yamuna river is a frozen lake of ice and glaciers at a distance of 4421 meters on the mountain cliff, which is 1 km high and inaccessible due to this region.

  4. 2. Gangotri Gangotri is a small town located around the Gangotri temple and is one of the four holy places. It is the highest and most important temple of the river Ganga and is worshiped as a goddess in India. Gangotri is a town and a municipality in Uttarkashi District in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.

  5. 3. Kedarnath Among the pilgrims, Kedarnath Dham is so important because it is not only a very important place for the Char Dham Yatra but it is also considered as one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Kedarnath is a holy city located in the Himalayas.

  6. 4. Badrinath Badrinath is a small, holy city in Uttarakhand. Known for being one of the most revered temples of the Hindus, the Badrinath Temple located in this city is included in the Char Dham Yatra. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
