You have the ability to engrave and cut on a wide range of materials, including paper, basswood, MDF, leather, and anodized aluminum. There are numerous benefits that come with using the 10w high power laser module rather than the 1.6w laser module. They include; The 10w laser module packs more power, meaning it can work on a wider range of materials. In addition, more power equals faster work speeds. It comes with upgraded focus methods. The auto-mode feature is a triangulation technique that helps the module assess the thickness of a material. This is achieved by obtaining several sets of data on the light emitter and the camera.

The 10w laser module has a higher cutting depth of 8mm, compared to 1.5mm on the 1.6w laser module.
