  1. Venkaiah Naidu: VIPs should come for Venkanna darshan only once a year: Venkaiah Naidu Tirumala: Former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu has suggested that VIPs should bring a limited number of family members only once a year for the darshan of Lord Venkateswara at Edukondala . He said this would avoid any inconvenience to the common devotees. He said that all public representatives should follow this instruction responsibly and soberly. Inconvenience to common devotees due to congestion He said that the TTD Governing Council and officials are giving high priority to the darshan of common devotees. Since the space and time for the darshan of Lord Shiva at Ananda Nilayam in Tirumala temple is limited, no matter how good the arrangements are made outside the temple, the common devotees will face inconvenience due to the crowd of devotees. Venkaiah Naidu suggested that the gifts offered by devotees to Srivaru should be used only for spiritual and religious programs as well as for providing facilities to devotees.A temple and a school in every villageHe suggested that charitable organizations like TTD should come forward to establish a temple in every village. He said that it is the duty of the government to establish schools. He asked the TTD officials to cooperate in giving priority to common devotees. Venkaiah also spoke to the Srivari Sevaks and praised the services they are providing. They reached the temple along with their family members via Vaikuntam 1 Q Complex.
