The retaining ring on double eccentric butterfly valves is attached to the valve using fixed socket bolts. The sealing surface between the valve and the pipe flange is reduced as a result, increasing the chance of leakage. Features of Double Eccentric Butterfly Valve: Because of the tilted disc, it has a longer service life. After a few degrees of opening, the stress on the disc is relieved, reducing disc seal wear. Furthermore, the design minimises the sealing's compression, resulting in reduced operating torques. -Connection between the disc and the shaft that is safe. A key and a keyway are used to connect the disc and shaft. To eliminate fluttering caused by flow velocity and necessary play in the key and keyway connection, two set screws are utilised to secure the key. The disc is locked in the large dimensions with two stainless steel drive dowels, with a key and keyway as a backup. -There are two types of seats available. A machined and epoxy-coated ductile iron seat is built into the body in the integral seat design. The stainless steel seat features a removable stainless steel seat ring that is sealed with an O-ring to prevent leaks behind the seat ring. -Optimised disc seal for optimal performance. The disc seal is shaped to keep the fixation in place, resulting in a highly reliable performance. Because of the outstanding rubber quality, the amount of rubber used can be reduced, resulting in low closing torques. DVGW, KIWA, and WRAS have all approved EPDM sealing.
