IRF to Host 4th Annual Roads & Highways Conference in Singapore

One of the initiatives headed Akhilesh Srivastava, Chief General Manager (IT & Highway operations), is about merging satellite data and geospatial technology into transportation to provide useful data to the highway authorities in India. He will be delivering a talk in Singapore at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel on the 9th-11th of April 2018, on the same initiative.<br>

IRF to Host 4th Annual Roads & Highways Conference in Singapore A global summit of road mobility will open in Grand Copthorne Waterfront, Singapore at the joint collaboration of International Road Federation (IRF) and Marcus Evans Forum. It is the 4th edition of this conference and it will be held from 09th to 11th April, 2018. Highlighted issues addressed during the summit include unlocking regional trade facilitation, Road safety in developing Asian countries, assessing the impact of OBOR infrastructure, congestion management, as well as measures to tackle the region's road traffic injury epidemic. The summit will offer the delegates across the globe, an opportunity to share their research and essential skills in designing and operating safer road network. To present innovation, the conference is the point of convergence and it’s a must-attend opportunity for the transportation professionals. Mr Akhilesh Srivastava CGM, (IT & Highway Operation), National Highway Authority of India will represent India in this global summit. The goal of the 4th Annual Roads and Highways Conference is to help policy-makers, planners and infrastructure operators from across the globe. It will help to transform the challenges into concrete policy and planning decisions.
