  2. Ha Long Bay: Ha Long Bay or the Bay of Descending Dragonsisthe most popular tourist attraction of Vietnam. It features thousands of islands with varying features. Some of these islands include caves, lakes and limestone pillars. At the same time, other islands are covered with thick jungle vegetation. The international tourists love to explore the distinct features of each island.

Thien Mu Pagoda:  Along with being the largest pagoda in Vietnam, ThienMu is also considered as the unofficial symbol of the former imperial capital.  It was initially constructed in 1601 as a simple structure overlooking the Perfume River. But with features being added to the structure in subsequent years make the design of the more attractive and intricate.  You have to visit Hue to explore the symbol of Vietnamese history.

  4. Hoan Kiem Lake:  In addition to being a popular leisure spot for locals, the lake located in Hanoi is also one of the most popular tourist spot in the region. In local language, the term “Hoan Kiem” means “returned sword”.  There is also a popular legend behind the name of the popular talk. According to the legend, the gods gave King Le Loi a magical sword to drive out the Chinese invaders.  After driving the invaders out, the King returned the sword to the Golden Turtle God living in the lake.

  5. Hoi An:  The popular tourist spot is located in the Central Vietnam the . The city is often regarded as the “Venice of Vietnam” due to the narrow canal that divides the city into two parts.  Earlier, Hoi An was a busy international port in the sixteenth century. But the shipping business has now moved from the city to the city of Da Nang.  But many international tourists still visit Hoi An to explore the Chinese-styled shops and winding lanes.

  6. Phu Quoc:  The largest island in Vietnam is located in the Gulf of Thailand . The island is hugely popular among international tourists due to its great beaches, natural coral reefs, and pristine tropical forests.  Bai Dai or the Long Beach in PhuQuoc is rated by many websites as one of the most beautiful and clean beaches.  While visiting PhuQuoc, you must not forget to try the nuocmam or fermented fish sauce popular across the world.

  7. Sa Pa Terraces:  Many visitors visit Sa Pa to see the rice terraces found in the region with a backdrop of thick bamboo woodlands. Sa Pa is located in northwest Vietnam, and nearby to the Chinese border.  The rice terraces are found in the Muong Hoa valley which lies between Sa Pa town and the Fansipan Mountain.  You can visit the region to observe how the local mountain people grow rice, corn, vegetables on these paddy terraces in a completely organic way.

  8. Mui Ne:  Earlier, Mui Ne was a little-inhabited beach located on south of the fishing village. But the prevailing strong wind makes Mui Ne a popular beach destination for windsurfing and kite-surfing.  You can always visit the region to indulge in a variety of exciting water sports. Also, you will love to famous sand dune which is located at the north of the town.
