Dr Charles Hodge - A Leader in Neurosurgery

Dr Charles Hodge was a member of the State University of New York Upstate Medical Center faculty for over three decades, and is proud of the extensive list of accomplishments he obtained during his service to the organization. As a member of the SUNY Upstate Medical University neurosurgery department, Dr Charles Hodge had the honor of serving as the Chairman of the organization’s neurosurgery training program for nearly two decades.

  1. Dr Charles Hodge - A Leader in Neurosurgery Dr Charles Hodge has led an extensive and successful career in the field of neurosurgery. Formerly the Chair of the Upstate Medical University Department of Neurosurgery, he has also made significant contributions to the field as a former President of the Society of Neurological Surgeons, as well as a member of the Society of Neurological Surgeons Council. He is also a past president of the Society of University Neurosurgeons. Dr Charles Hodge is a leader and innovator in his field.

Dr Charles Hodge - Well-Educated Medical Professional Dr Charles Hodge is a well-known, reputable and successful member of the field of neurosurgery, and is the former chair of the Department of Neurosurgery at Upstate Medical University. He is a graduate of Princeton University, as well as the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr Charles Hodge completed his Fellowship at the London Hospital, which is located in Whitechapel, London.

  3. Dr Charles Hodge - Award Winner Dr Charles Hodge has contributed much to the field of medicine, particularly to the science and practice of neurosurgery. As a result of his discoveries concerning the anatomy and physiology of the spinothalamic tract, Dr Charles Hodge was honored with two professional awards, including the Elizabeth Crosby Medal from the University of Michigan neurosurgery group in 1988 and the Grass Prize from the Society of Neurological Surgeonsin 1987.

Dr Charles Hodge - Clinical Interests Dr Charles Hodge is an accomplished neurosurgeon, medical education professional and researcher and currently the Chief Medical Officer of the start-up vCases. His current clinical interests cover a variety of areas relating to the field of neurosurgery, including Cranial Nerve Syndromes, Cortical Localization, Stereotactic Respiratory, Frameless Stereotaxy and more. Dr Charles Hodge continues to be a prominent member of the medical community.
