  2. IBA Model (India & Abroad) Purpose: Loan for pursuing higher studies in professional & technical courses both in India and Abroad. Eligibility: Indian National (student) who has secured admission for higher education in India/Abroad on the basis of entrance test/merit. Students from some of the top rated Indian institutions are awarded certain concessions. Top rated institutes include- IITs, IIMs, IISc Bangalore, ISB Hyderabad, BITS, AIIMS, NITs, IIFT Delhi, IMI Delhi, ISM Dhanbad, IRM Anand, SIBM Pune and XLRI Jamshedpur. Quantum of Loan: Min: No Limit Max: ₹10 lakhs for studies in India ₹20 lakhs for studies abroad Moratorium Period: Course period + 1 year Repayment Period: Up to 15 years for all loans (after moratorium period)

  3. IBA Model Skill Loan Scheme Purpose: For pursuing skill development courses. Eligibility: Student (Indian National) who has secured admission to any eligible course run by Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), Polytechnics or school recognized by Central or State education Boards or college affiliated to recognized university, training partners affiliated to National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC)/Sector Skill Councils, State Skill Mission, State Skill Corporation. Quantum of Loan: Min: ₹5000/- Max: ₹150000/- Moratorium Period: 6 months after course completion, if course duration < 1 year 12 months after course completion, if course duration > 1 year Repayment Period: After moratorium period Up to 3 years for loans < Rs.50,000/- Up to 5 years for loans > Rs.50,000/- & loans < Rs.1.00 lakh Up to 7 years for loans > Rs.1.00 lakh

Application Process: Register with Vidya Lakshmi (www.vidyalakshmi.co.in/Students/) Fill up the form Apply to multiple banks Supported by: Department of Higher Education Department of Financial Services Indian Bank’s Association Implemented & Maintained by: NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited (NSDL e-Gov)
