Introduction • Known as the "Pearl of the Orient" and a "Tourist Paradise", the state of Goa is located on the western coast of India in the coastal belt known as Konkan • The magnificent scenic beauty and the architectural splendours of its temples, churches and old houses have made Goa a firm favourite with travellers around the world • Perfect place where you will find a blend of traditional and modern aspects of life • Waterfalls, the forests, the spice farms, all are unique in their own way and are on top of the list. The main reason to visit Goa is its excellent Goa beaches.

The Carnival is celebrated for three days and nights, when the legendary King Momotakes over the state and the streets come alive with music and colour. • Huge parades are organized throughout the state with bands, dances and floats outall night on the streets, and grand balls held in the evenings.
