uttarakhand is famous all over the world for it's beauty. Along with beauty, it is also known as the land of Gods. There are many places here that people come from for and wide to see. One of these places is panch kedar ( Kedarnath, Madhyamaheshwar, Tungnath, Rudranath, Kalpeshwar) different forms of Lord Shiva are worshiped in these tempels. Panch kedar trek is done in 14 day and 13 night. it is a long trek but also a very interesting trek.<br><br>Panch Kedar Yatra<br>Uttarakhand is the only place in India, which is beautified with natural wealth as well as priceless fund of religion and philosophy. Uttarakhand is worldwide famous as u2018The land of the Godsu2019. The Land has got special attention of u2018Lord Shivau2019 who is known as u2018Devon Ke Dev Mahadevu2019.<br><br>There are 12 Jyotirlingas of Mahadeva in India and Kedarnath Dham is one of them and known to be at 11th position in the que. Kedarnath Dham is in Uttarakhand which is a Northern State of India. Panchkedar Shiv Ji has different temples established, the first of which is Kedarnath, which is the 11th Jyotirlinga out of the 12 Jyotirlingas.

  2. TREK DETAIL AND ITINERARY • DAY 1 – Haridwar to Sonprayag ( 234 km.) • DAY 2 – Sonprayag to Kedarnath (5 km. drive, 16 km. trek) • DAY 3 – Kedarnath to Ukhimath via Gaurikund ( 53 km.) • DAY 4 – Ukhimath to Ransi & Bantoli ( 23 km. drive, 7 km. trek)

BANTOLI TO LOWER LOTI TREK • DAY 5 – Bantoli to Madhyamaheshwar ( 11km.) • DAY 6 – Madhyamaheshwar to Budha Madhyamaheshwar & back to Bantoli ( 14 km trek downhill) • DAY 7 – Bantoli to Ransi to Chopta via Ukhimath ( 65 km. drive, 7 km. trek) • DAY 8 – Chopta to Tungnath & back & drive towards Saggar Village ( 7 km. trek, 27 km. drive) • DAY 9 – Saggar to Lower Loti ( 8.5 km. trek)

LOWER LOTI TO HARIDWAR TREK • DAY 10 – Lower Loti to Rudranath ( 9.5 km. trek) • DAY 11 - Rudranath to Lower Loti ( 9.5 km. trek) • Day 12 – Lower Loti to Saggar Village & drive to Helong ( 8.5 km. trek, 50 km. drive) • DAY 13 – Helong to Kalpeshwar temple & back Helong ( 16 km.) • DAY 14 – Helong to Haridwar ( 270 km.)

WHAT TO CARRY • Two Pairs of lightweight trousers or pants, one for trekking & one to wear at night. • A pair of gloves.(optional) • Small torch with spare batteries. • Duffel bag or large rucksack to carry to gear while trekking. We recommend you use something strong & sturdy. • One pair of shorts. • A Woolen hat to wear in the morning & evening. • Walking boots / trekking shoes. • Two light weight fleeces or wool jumpers. • A light weight umbrella or poncho. • Sunglasses. • A note book & / or writing paper & pen. • Water bottle. • Small towel. • Toiletries, N.B as little as possible, if you are traveling with friends try to share toiletries.
